It was tough but what I needed.

Cenikor is an amazing place. They offer the tools, education, counseling and discipline to become clean and free of any substances. It is what you make it! and if you're ready, you'll make it! The Deer Park location is a great place. Mr. Eugene Hall is the Facility Director and does a very good job. I am proud to be a 2016 graduate and I continue to live by the Cenikor philosophy every day. God will help you to change if you make a sincere and honest effort to help yourself! Cenikor….. It truly IS a place for change.

I'm thankful that this place exists. My brother is suppose to go there soon and even though it has been 3 months since we have applied, getting accepted into the program brings hope. I hope he starts soon and is very successful in the program. He really wants to go back to his normal self, we all do.

Cenikor, from what I can tell, is a decent and doable rehab center. My husband completed the 11 day detox program and had the choice to either continue to the 30 day inpatient program at Cenikor or go to another facility. He chose to stay at Cenikor because he had grown attached to the staff and his peers. He is successful at Cenikor and that says a lot bc he is not a good sport in crappy circumstances. So it must not be crappy. Also, they easily accept state funding. We did not have to jump through any hoops to receive assistance and are receiving treatment 100% free of cost.

I was a resident for 9 monthes at the Deer Park location. 2010. Michael CA. Coming up this April 2017 I will be sober 7 years!! Not one drop since I walked out of the doors there. Cenikor is an individually based program, a behavior modification program if you will. What I saw and went through there, I needed!! I was a failure as a person, son , father, human before . I use what I learned there ever day of my life, and always will. I give to others what I learned there. A person doesn't have to graduate the program there to be a success, although I do suggest it, it's a tough ass program but life changing. If you really want to change your life? dig down deep, walk through the fire, and change your life!! That's why it's called " A place for change" it really can be if you alow it, God bless!!

Today I finished my 11 days of detox treatment and a new beginning to my sobriety, I would like to say a few words to those that might not know what this place does for certain people, Ms Debra is one of those staff that brought me to life, showed me how beautiful someone can be deep inside.. and I could never thank her enough or all the other staff who helped me get through the nights where I couldn't sleep, i prayed to God to help me fight my addiction and I am well on my way.. Cenikor did wonders for my son. Unfortunately, he relapsed. I just wish there could be a better support system in place to aid with the clients once they after graduate from the 24 month vigouruos program. He's almost back where he started now, AWFUL

Cenikor Deer Park saved my life. Actual peer-to-peer accountability helped me to deal with my non productive behaviours. Cenikor really is the boot camp of rehabs. The program works if one will let it. One day at a time, finding solutions, and Cenikor will continue to save lives.
